Come cheer for your favorite team as 30 professional, amateur and youth trainers compete to show the end results of their 120 day journey to transform their challenge horse from unwanted and untrained into a desirable equine partner and companion. Specific time schedules will be announced at a later date, but classes begin at 9:00 a.m. each day:
The Heart of the Horse Trainer Challenge horses, and possibly some of the Diamond Project horses, will be available for adoption to pre-approved bidders in a live Safe Horse Auction. Bidding begins at the conclusion of the Heart of the Horse Trainer’s Challenge awards presentation on Saturday, May 20th. If you are in the market for a new equine companion, please follow the Challenge Horses on this website and on social media. If you think one or more of them may be a good match for you, you must be pre-approved to adopt and make an appointment to meet the horse and its trainer prior to the auction in order to bid. Check Adoption Info for more complete information on the application and approval process.
Our primary source of funding for the Heart of the Horse Expo is this fundraiser. You can help support our mission…and have a chance at winning a new Polaris Ranger 570 SP too!
The drawing for the winner of the Ranger will be the afternoon of May 20th during the final Awards Ceremony for the Heart of the Horse Trainers Challenge.
